Counter-Strike News OpTic's mixwell: hazed, jasonR 'will stay with us at least until the Major'

James "hazed" Cobb and Jason "jasonR" Ruchelski will stay on as OpTic Gaming's stand-in coach and player respectively, according to Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas in the latest episode of the team's documentary series Vision.

"So, we want to keep hazed as our coach and he will stay with us at least until the Major, and jasonR will be playing with us too," mixwell said. "So we have these five players with hazed as the coach and we are training for all the events that are coming now. Probably the most stacked period of time of the year."

OpTic will be attending the ESL Pro League Season 5 Finals, ESL One Cologne 2017 and, if they qualify, the Esports Championship Series Season 3 Finals, which are all right around the same time as the offline qualifier for the Krakow Major 2017.

In their recent events, OpTic finished in third place at the cs_summit, 3rd-4th place at IEM Season XII Sydney with hazed standing in for jasonR, but most recently they placed 5th-8th at the Subaru Invitational 2017.
